About Matthew

Meet Matt Major, a classically trained violinist hailing from the musical landscapes of northern California. From winning classical concerto competitions, to pursuing a master’s degree in contemporary performance at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain, Matt’s journey is as diverse as his music.

Currently, as a master’s student at Berklee, Matt spends his days composing new compositions, rehearsing his band, refining his artistry in recording studios, and in the night, enchanting audiences across the city of Valencia. His current goal is to perform consistently as a gig musician and session player; offering a blend of classical training, experimental flair, and an unwavering to the music that fuels his soul.
